Managing Director

John Gowdie

B.App. Sc. CM, MAIPM

With more than 25 years senior management experience in the Australian engineering, commercial and domestic construction sectors, John Gowdie is Managing Director of the Gowdie Management Group. John is focused on providing clients with a real alternative in the market place, and offers hands-on construction and project management experience and know-how often unavailable within the project management industry. With formal qualifications and experiences gained on projects in the health, correctional, residential, commercial, defence, and retail sectors.

Robert Wilson

Diploma in Building

Rob Wilson has over 40 years experience with major construction companies throughout Australia. He has worked in all sectors of the industry and specialises in Design and construct projects. Some of Rob’s major projects include Expo 88, the Sheraton Hotel / Central Station Redevelopment, and the Thiess Headquarters at Southbank. Rob also brings extensive refurbishment expertise to the company, gained through leading the Lend Lease Interiors business for a number of years. Rob’s meticulous attention to detail and ‘hands on’ approach to project management will result in clients achieving successful project outcomes.

Greg Packer

BE (Hons)

Greg Packer is one of the industry’s most well known figures, with more than 35 years experience gained with major contractors throughout Australia’s engineering and construction industry. Responsible for some of this nation’s major health, education, correctional, government building and tourism facilities, Greg brings a wealth of experience to any project he undertakes. His ability to focus on the key constructability elements for projects allows him to identify real opportunities for savings throughout delivery in areas such as resourcing, project planning, and procurement. This is complemented by his proven relationship management approach and positive human resource and industrial relations experiences.

Natalie Titman

Bach BE, Bach Law

Natalie Titman's formal qualifications in Business and Law as well as over ten years in the retail and manufacturing industries provides a well-rounded background for understanding clients and expectations and achieving successful project outcomes in the provision of project management services. Following with the GMG philosophy, Natalie is dedicated to providing an "ownership" approach to each job, being involved in all facets of the project and ensuring attention to detail is maintained. Natalie specializes in the management of fit-outs from concept through design and construction to close out. For 3 years Natalie has lead the company's team in the Westpac Bank project management division successfully delivering both new and refurbished branches throughout metropolitan and country QLD and NSW.

Col Taylor

Registered Builder

With considerable time and experience in the construction industry since 1973, Colin Taylor has used his Project Management skills to achieve impressive results. Colin’s expertise lies in managing problem projects to completion. His methodical and through approach to design and construction issues allows for a comprehensive and detailed strategy to be implemented to achieve successful results.

Colin’s involvement in recent projects with Gowdie Management Group has seen him deliver on time and on budget the completion of Jade Apartments, Townsville, a 97 residential unit development in receivership. Colin’s experience as a builder and project manager allowed for the smooth running of all areas of construction delivering a first class development and positive outcomes. Prior to joining Gowdie Management Group Col used his knowledge and skills of the building and construction industry as a consultant for various companies, getting involved in Programming, Site Finalization, Expert Witness, Document Discovery, Feasibility Studies, Due Diligence Reporting, Claim Preparation and Submissions, production of Method Statements, Business Development and Mentoring.

Alison Ward has been involved in town planning and environmental law in Queensland for 10 years, working in both the public and private sectors. Alison joined Gowdie Management Group recently to provide her expertise in finalizing planning and development issues to several complex residential and mixed use projects throughout Queensland. Alison responsibilities previously in her role as Planning and Environment Manager with Insight Group covered 9 sites across Queensland and New South Wales. These included Insight Market Place – a sub-regional shopping centre in Bundaberg. Castaway Bay Luxury Resort, Airlie Beach. Insight Commercial Park Townsville – a five stage land redevelopment.
